Tuesday, January 1: New Year, New Calendar

Tuesday, January 15: Release of My Life Among the Underdogs
Star of Animal Planet’s hit show Pit Bulls & Parolees, Tia Torres chronicles her rollercoaster life in this heartwarming memoir that features nine of her most-beloved dogs. Tia writes about how each dog has overcome abuse, trauma and neglect to become a loving companion. As the owner of the Villalobos Rescue Center in New Orleans, the largest Pit Bull rescue facility in the United States, Tia and the Villalobos Rescue Center have rescued, rehabilitated and rehomed hundreds of animals that might otherwise have been destroyed. Thursday, January 17 through Sunday, January 20: Michigan Winter Dog Classic
Paws up for Michigan’s largest dog show, with 7,000 dogs representing 170 breeds in Novi, Michigan. The family-friendly event features over 80 vendors, plus agility, obedience, dock diving, duck herding, police K9 training, breed rescue and more. Saturday, January 26 through January 27: Husky Heroes
At this happening Husky event, you can hug, pose for a pic, buy cool merchandise, get great info on or even inquire about adopting a Husky.
